well, weve had to file a report about ASUS to the BBB. they STILL have not replied to me, nor my mom. and if anyone was hiding under a rock, the CPU fan bracket broke, allowing the CPU to fry both itself and the MOBO. so now i have to buy a new CPU and mobo. this time i do think i will switch to AMD. Anyway, hopefully soon i will be getting either a new mobo and processor from ASSUS or get a FULL refund for the mobo. wish me luck :wacko:

yup I could have told you that.  They recently moved thier repair center to louisville infact its about 3 minutes from my house.  They people that they have working on thier board come into my work all the time and lets just say they lack some in the integence area.  I finally got them to admit that Asus proritizes their AGP and PCIx slots to only perform well with Asus branded cards.  But that just a little tid bit of info for you.

I got an Asus mobo (A7N8X Deluxe) and it's pretty sweet. If what you say is true I'll veer towards other brands sans a super deal on another Asus.
