This is in no way an apology, for I see no reason to post one. I stand behind my actions.

In no way was my post directed to any one of the sK community, hence why the 99% was there.

If I were to make a thread with an article flaming the fuck out of America, I can see an exact response (as mine) from many of you.

That's all I will say.
Take it as you will, but I'm not going to apologize.

Flu, there are many things you don't know about.

I know that some of the "media personalities" weren't thinking about ethics or anything such as that.

Here's why I posted that article:

Canada depends largely on the US for most of its trade, and for some part - protection.

Canada does not visibly help the US in negotiations, in conflicts, or in most anything diplomatic.

From the actual facts on that page, and yes...there are a few facts, it seems like the relationship is unbalanced.

Terrorism knows no boundaries, and hopefully not for your sake or you country's but someday it may become a target due to it's free-trade association with the US. Anyone not an enemy of the US will be a target.

Spain's trains got bombed last year, so they pulled out, but that doesn't mean they are safe.  They backed down and are just put on a back burner from now on. London got bombed because of Tony Blair's insistence of teaming with President Bush in the Coalition of the War on Terrorism. Denmark and Italy are the next targets, according to the "claim of the event" on al-Qaeda's website because they too are in on the coalition.

That's why I believe Canada is taking no military action in the Coalition, the threat of being targetted. You were saying about the US and N. Korea, how we would get nuked if we attacked, that may be right. One thing you might not realize is that if the US gets nuked, so will parts of Canada due to wind currents bringing nuclear waste thousands of miles from a blast site.


I believe that it is sad that war has to be waged on terms like these.  I wish world leaders could sit down and talk things out like high school kids in the principal's office.

I did not target you or any individual Canadians myself.  I am good friends with some canadians, I consider you a friend.  I wish that you would have picked out the facts from that article and came to the same conclusion that I did.

The US plays a major role in the defense of Canada.  If Canada got attacked, it would probably recieve much more attention than if England did from the US.  You would see Marines every half mile all across your major cities if the shit hit the fan.  While the countries are independent through government, they are not in survival skills.

The U.S. takes pride (I know I do) in being able to stand up against tyranny, corruption, and (Bush Quote) "evildoers" home and abroad because it seems that nobody else does.  If you're not a part of the solution, then you're part of the problem.

How can you possibly feel so pig-headed and self absorbed enough to post an article that does nothing but knock his country in every way shape or form...Then EXPECT him to agree with you on "points." You didn't post this novel when you posted the horrendous article.

What would you say if somebody said the following things about America?

"They better hope the United States doesn't roll over one night and crush them. They are lucky we allow them to exist on the same continent."

"We could have taken them [Canada] over so easily."

"Canada is essentially Honduras, but colder and much less interesting."

And the monster of a slam againsn't anybodies country:

"Canada's essentially -- essentially a made-in-Taiwan version of the United States."

And 1 person asks a reasonable question:

"ELLIS HENICAN [Newsday columnist]: We share a lot of culture and a lot of interests. Why do we want to have to ridicule them and be deeply offended if they disagree with us?"

And it gets replied with this insanely generic uncreative puke-on-all Americans response: "COULTER: Because they speak French." - Gee, how freaking adult of an answer.

You knock on his country incredibly hard. Fine. He defends his country by calling us idiots. Whatever - You called his country a cheap knock off and made fun of his countrymen. And then...And then you had the audacity to be appalled when he defended his...

Don't knock the guy for backing his country when it gets knocked - We'd do the same.

Crow, that article was a personal attack on me and my country. It was posted on the forums, and directly to me. I will take offence and reply as I've told you. I've also mentioned that my reply was not directed to anyone in the sK community, but obviously the same thing happened as it happened to me, and you all took offence.

Just as I told you in messages, If I were to post an article of that manner on the forums, you would have freaked out (along with all the other americans) because it is very offensive, and you wouldn't have "taken it up with the authors" but with me. I know this, you know this, everyone knows this.

If you still feel that I no longer belong in the community, then say so, and I will part ways. No hard feelings will be held, because I have no beef with anyone in sK. It's up to you bro, lemme know by tonight.

(I'm not even going to respond to dragon, but don't make a fool of yourself man, picking fights - over the internet with a kid isn't cool)

I understand that the article would make you upset.  I would have too.  But no need to negatively generalize anyone.  Hell you can bitch at Jeebus for posting it.  Political debates are interesting because it brings out some strong emotions.  But like I said, focus on the topic and the individuals who wrote it(or posted it...lol.)

Anyways, I think everyone has made their point.  And since you have clarified that what you initially said had nothing to do with the americans in our community, then the issue is resolved.

Ive been to canada have no problem with it and im going to get into the debate. But its easier for everyone to be calm and understand that canada is one of our largest traders so we need them for that atleast a little bit. And Without us their out of luck on an attack from another country so they need us.

Now thats that is said. As an American,(especially a proud military member) I'll be honest...my hair bristled when I read the post. Regardless that I am appearantly exluded from being an idiotic American by being in sK, any insult towards America gets my blood boiling. Apart from that, I know quite a few of us Americans talk alot of trash about Canadians.

Now, for the point:
We are a Clan, a family. As such, there is no place in this group for insults. I don't care what country, race, or religion anyone in this group is or practices, members will NOT be disrespectful. I have no clue why the article was posted in the first place, but it was. However, the reponses(from both parties) was uncalled for. Future comments like this will not be tolerated. We are all old enough to be responsible for what we say. Comments like "I didn't mean it" or "I was just mad at the time" will not fly. This is typing not speaking people, it takes thought and time to make a post. I will not tolerate disrespect in these forums and will use all abilities at my disposal to keep these forums clean and safe for all. If it takes putting ppl on time out, I'm sure that can be arranged too...

NOW, keep the debate clean and friendly, I do not want to have to start *admining*. Love all of you, some of the comments have stung me a bit, but thats a part of friendship. Your friends aren't the ppl who never hurt you, it's those that when they do, you forgive and they do likewise.
