conclaves held in slidell, new orleans lou., and biloxi, gulfport Ms.

but still 3 years and many friends that continued, i am and will be a phi kappa brother.

High Schools?  Wait, I'm confused.  My Fraternity is Alpha Chi Rho.  It is a national fraternity for university and college students.  The Phi Kappa was the name of the AXP Chapter in University of Illinois.

Sometimes you look for the wrong answers in the right place, and the right answers in the wrong place. Either way; im neither place, so dont ask.

well if you go back many years ago crow....  high schools had frats sponsered by college level frats...  sort of an induction if you were really really cool....

the phi kappa  is the high school level....the omega was added @ college....

only 10 schools @ high school level are even allowed to continue this, in the entire country.

phi kappa was sponsered by the national chapter... so basically it meant you got to skip rush, hurdle over alot of the pledging (especially for officers.)

So the name of your fraternity in HS was Phi Kappa?  Its a different fraternity but its all good.  Sounds interesting how that perticular fraternity started in HS.  I know AXP was exclusively university or college only.

at one time, many of the frats actually recuited in high school.....

and yes the sponser of phi kappa was college/university level....that we met at conclave, and officers met on 3 other occassions throughout the year..our dues even went to the sponser...which for my particular high school was out of mississippi state.

and that allowed me to be a shoe in @ tulane for phi kappa sigma mu chapter. but i was only there for 1 and 1/2 semester.
