oh i have sinned agienst my computer.  ive been playing xbox alot over here.  i liberated over 500ft of lan cable and connected 4 xboxes throughout our barracks and have been playing halo2 agienst one another for the past week and a half for atleast a hour and a half every night.  its been fun though.  our best players names are "king ding a ling". . . "shadow" "the N word". . . "dark nukem". . ."Talon". . . "cracker jack" and "lord canibus"  we have about 30 some odd people who play and theres usually 4-6 players on.  we will be hooking up everyones computers to a sepprate lan over the next few days and hopfully get everybody playing some computer games.

talon, when you get back, ima going to point you into how to mod your xbox for under 40 bucks and run xbox media center...you can play pc games via xbox fully run your network through it....

and when its all said and done biys, you guys are all still standing in front of my muzzle

what i did was get a mechassult copy off ebay ( i already had mine so i didnt have to buy it) i see them on there for like 4 or 5 dollars

i took one of my controllers and cut the plug off the end....then if you have say a female usb end somewhere wire the 2 together...because as everyone knows the xbox controller ports are usb just differnet plugs.

you can download the ltools from mirc off the efnet server in the xbins channel in there you will get a user/pass to ftp into the xbins ftp server and download all the xploits, hacks, patches, dashboards, anything u can think of.

btw you have to get ltools to your xbox hard drive...thats the hardest part. if you know someone who has a modded box already its really simple...basically u use a jump drive and the usb cable you made earlier to transfer the files to the xbox....

itools uses a saved game exploit from mech assault.. i'm not gonna go through all the little steps of this as you can find them on www.xbox-scene.com but it installs linux and a new dashboard....once its installed you can play all the back up games you have dvds w/out dongle....emulators...everything.

thhhpp, i get steaming audio, with playlist on bottom of my screen, weather channel, play pc games, all emu (located in network pc drive) and even have complete control over all lights on the xbox. internet tv, and give me a minute and ill tune the damn thing to a satillite for movies and trouble.....

running xbox media center. plays everything runs everything jacks into everything....

solderless chip.
xbox live not a problem, jacks into playstation live too.

basically name it it does it.

and as far as install, 35 to 45 minutes. solderless chip, bios flash, and load media center. and set the smb into network.
