I am getting Vista Ultimate from a M$ buddy, 45 bucks... Microsoft Employee price.  otherwise I wouldn't be getting it.  

Like others said, looks pretty, but nothing else special about it.  I do hate it asking me 3 times every time I open a program that wasn't made/signed by microsoft.... annoying.

Well the deal is, he has "company account money" that he can spend on software and hardware through M$.  His wife used up here acount already and he doesn't have much left in his.  He is saving it to "Buy a 6" once dell gets drivers for the hardware for the XPS machines.  Sorry.

actually with the new hack i found out about theres no need to  buy it...get ultimate for free and get all windows updates hehe because its activated muahahahahah..... im not sure how yall are about me postin more detailed info about it but if its ok let me know.

I also have the Ultimate Edition.  I bet you used a CD Key from one of the RC's?  I bet you did it the same way I did, and MS has already caught the hack.  Or do you have something different?

finally got my two 8800gt's working to bad 2142 doesnt like vista i keep getting kicked do to punkbuster anybody have any ideas?   however a plus is it does make many of my games look better.  just cant figure out how to turn off microsoft defender.  

To fix the punkbuster issue, you need to right click on your icon for the game and you need to run it as administrator.  I would just turn off UAC and make my account admin always.
