The Detroit Red Wings and Pistons begin their quest for the championship in their respected sports this weekend. I dont know how many sports minded ppl we have here but I think its just amazing that we have the top ranked team in two sports. Both have the best record and both have dominated their competition this season. If they both succeed in these playoffs, theres going to be one hell of a party here....and everyone is welcome to join! :)

This used to be my favorite time of year because I was/am a Laker fan. I have spent the last 2 years being bitter about the Shaq/Kobe divorce. But, last night I found myself staying up past midnight to watch them beat the Suns. I guess I am going to get over it and be a fan again. NBA prediction....Pistons over Spurs in 6.
As far as Hockey...Since I moved to Nashville from California, I have been half assedly following the Predators. But, I can never get that serious about hockey. At least it takes radio time away from Nascar. Can you believe they actually talk about Nascar on sports radio here...wtf! NHL prediction...high scoring and low ratings.
I am stoked for the NFL draft this weekend though. In my opinion, the NFL is by far the best pro sports product on the market. Baseball is my first love, but the NFL is the only sport that keeps you interested all year round. I'm trying to be a Titans fan, since I work like 2 blocks from their facilities. I'm hoping they get one of my USC guys so I can officially route for them.
