its amazing ive only been here 2 and a half weeks and i may get a AAM (army achievment medal) because i know how to use a damn computer. problem is i have to connect 4 computers to a satalite across the fob (forward operations base) and they wont let me lay done cabling to do it :( now i have to fight the commo guys to get me a wireless router to connect to the dish to connect to the satalite. but the computers im using are so unstable (like everything else in the army) if i change a simple thing like the time zone it will back date everybody's medical records one day and if you install a simple thing like a screen saver on it the computer has to be reformated because it currupts the medical programs we use. i dont want to think about what may happen if i install a wireless router instead of the cable one they gave us that shouldnt of even been issued do to kuwait and iraq uses 220v plugs our router uses 110v the computers we were given may use both but the converters you buy at the px here break extremly easily and are unreliable. one of my sgts. bought one and it fried in less then 30sec and im not joking plus it took his laptop with him which wasent capatible with 220v. he wasent happy i myself have gone through one converter to use a projection screen so i could watch a movie on a 60in screen instead of a 7 inch. the good thing is i had a surge protctor so when the converter went out the surge didnt destroy the projector thank god. anyway things are going good and would be excellent if i could get that computer system working the way is should so i can get that aam.
i hope you guys are having fun and cookie come back to the lite come back to WoW B)
