i have to retreive emails from an old exchange and transfer them to the respective clients in their new xchange/outlook box.
i have built a "network" out of the old system and actually have it opened and able to scroll through their old email boxes as if nothing ever happened to the old system. these are what i would call rogue emails that sommehow didnt go into the pst file for transfer.
now there are alot of unneeded emails but both clients wish to retrieve large blocks of emails and then to archive the rest.
my question is this, being that these old servers are all about data on floppy disk,
how do i transfer all of these emails to their new home without changing dates and such?? create another pst file? can you pull on into an existing box and ~do not overwrite existing files? can i transfer em in mass in single folder with a detachable usb harddrive? or do i take the old network elsewheres and email em the damn folders? but they requested the time and date remain for these are signed contracts all with courts and government involved, so data is a premium here.
