Arent you still in HS?  Forget the gun and start saving for college.  That would be a much wiser investment. ;)

gun+9mm+cheap+extremely reliable+accurate= Makarov.

http://www.makarov.com/ (http://www.makarov.com/)

not big and clunky like some guns, plus one of the most reliable guns around. You can get a new bulgarian model for about $150 to $230 depending on if you get the case, holster, magazine, and cleaning tool with it or just the gun.

In the end however, rvs guns are much cheaper!

The Tangfolio Witness line is another cheap, accurate, and reliable choice for a pistol.  I'd also suggest a .40 S&W over a 9mm, but that's just my preference.  I would have to agree with Crow, though - save the money for college.  My last firearm purchase was about 2 years ago and I have not gotten a chance to shoot it yet.  Guns make expensive hobbies for the amount of time you get to play with them.
